Christmas Lunch at Tennyson Saturday 3 December 2016

A big thanks to Kim and Sue for hosting us for our Christmas lunch this year. We had a lovely time catching up with friends and relaxing in their terrific bushland setting. Despite our anticipation, the resident goanna refused to make his appearance, leaving us a little disappointed, though very relieved.

Most members were met by Kim at Macquarie Park Windsor at around 11am before heading off  a little after 11.30am to travel to Kim and Sue's.  We took a short run through the lowlands and Freemans Reach, which is always a nice drive - though the countryside is very dry at the moment. Two other members sadly had to work for part of the day, but joined us in plenty of time for lunch.

On arrival at Tennyson we parked the club cars close to the road for passersby to see with the club banner proudly on display.

Attending -  Peter and Rhonda's '64 Minx, Vern and Cheryl’s '69 Hunter (also Cheryl's mum Betty in Cheryl's modern),  Geoff's '65 Imp, Arthur’s '66 Gazelle,   Paul and Mae's '62 Superminx, 2 of Kim's Hunters, and Colin in his modern. We had 1 visitor (Warren), a friend of Kims from the Peugeot Club.

Our lunch was delicious and we  appreciated the efforts of our hosts who made us feel right at home. Many thanks to those who brought something to share.

A good day was had by all.
